Meditations
The same hypervigilance that kept you alive can now keep you awake. The body scans for threats that aren’t there, and the mind interprets every unknown as danger. But anxiety is just information — misrouted, not malicious.
When tension rises, pause and ask: what is this alert trying to tell me? Often, it’s not “you’re unsafe,” but “you’re uncertain.” The body doesn’t distinguish between the two.
The fix isn’t suppression — it’s translation. Breathe. Observe. Label the sensation. “There’s tension.” “There’s fear.” Once named, it loses rank. You regain command.
Anxiety becomes awareness when you stop fighting it and start listening.
