About the Event
Join us for the 50strong Meetup featuring multiple military friendly employers eager to connect with the military community. Whether you’re active duty, a veteran, a spouse, or a military-affiliated student, this session is a chance to explore real opportunities and talk directly with recruiters and company leaders.
What to Expect
- Hear from featured employers as they share their career pathways, programs, and military-focused initiatives
- Discover in-demand roles across tech, operations, skilled trades, corporate functions, and more
- Learn about hiring needs across key U.S. locations
- Move freely between employer breakout rooms during the networking hour to focus on the companies and roles that fit your interests
How to Prepare
- Check out the 50strong Opportunity Marketplace to browse SkillBridge, internships, apprenticeships, and direct-hire roles by city/state
- Explore the 50strong Mentor platform to connect with recruiters from your company of choice before or after the event
- Visit employer career pages or military community pages and pick 1–2 roles you’d like to discuss
- Test your Zoom setup in advance if you’re joining from mobile
- Come ready to ask questions—no resume or elevator pitch required
Event Flow
- Welcome: 30 minutes
- Breakout Rooms: 1 hour (you move freely every 15 minutes)
- Wrap-Up & Giveaways: 5 minutes

- Gather contact info for follow-up
